Poom's Academic Interests

My academic's interests is lighting design.I have loved drawing since  i was young so I decided t study architecture at Chulalongkorn University. i like seeking many styles of interior and product design on the internet. One sort that i usually follow new item is pinterest's page. One day I attended a lighting class in the university, i found that i like this subject very much because lighting can make my eye can see the space in the room. After graduation, I went to work as a lighting designer. I have worked with other design parties. We tried to make the best solution of lighting installation to highlight the building and interior space more beautifully. Working with light, I can learn more technical subject like lighting temperature, lighting calculation to process my design. I really think that want to find more experience in many part of light. there are many opened lecture classes about lighting design in Thailand. Ensuring that I don't miss to attend them.

    Each person have different academic interests.

    My favorite part in this post is the last sentence. It makes me want to know more about her interest in Interior Design.

    I also like the interior design.

    Your academic interest is great.

    In my childhood, I used to like drawing and painting. But after I was in a secondary school, I changed my mind and chose to study about Maths&Sciences. However, I still like Arts. In last semester, my university(same as you) wanted students to learn something different from their major. I actually wanted to learn about interior design or designing products. Unfortunately, the course was full very fast so I chose 'Thai Architectural Heritage' instead but it was OK.

    By the way, I hope you will be a successful lighting designer in the future.

    I'd never thought much about lighting as an architectural tool, but your passion comes through in the description and gives me some idea of how fascinating it is.

    I studied about Fundamental of Lighting when I was ABAC student. It's about art work and you have to learn with lighting by feelings. I feel you, it's going to be fun. Enjoy your work!

    Your academic interest is quite new for me because I have never thought about that before. It is very interesting. Due to your hard work, you are going to be a fantastic lighting designer for sure.
