Let's sleep in the dark.

As we know that women always care about beauty and health. sleeping is one of the beauty choices for girls who have enough free time, But do you know that where you sleep may affect on your shape too.

According to "Light bedrooms 'link to obesity'", it states that sleeping in the room with light in average level (enough to see across) will cause obesity in women. This research also found that women with obesity are those who sleep in lighter room because sleeping in the light room may interrupt body clock cycle, Anyway, the research needs to be further studied.

I was surprised when I read this news, because I've never thought that the light level in the bedroom will affect our shape, I always sleep in the dark room because I've heard that growth hormones grow in the dark, but I don't have much sleep so it won't grow anyway. So It's very essential for teenagers to sleep earlier to produce growth hormone.

I think that sleeping in the dark room is not enough if I still sleep less like nowadays, I sleep at 1 AM. for everyday because of doing homework and watching movies as usual, I can't sleep early except the day I do exercise. Or else I'm insomnia; sleep late everyday and try hard to sleep. As a teenager I should go to bed earlier like 11 PM. unless I'll be this short forever.

  1. It's very interesting and new for me. I have never heard before that the light level in bedroom affects us, maybe, because I don't have any problem with sleeping; I can sleep everywhere I want, so I don't worry or think of other people who can't sleep well in the lighter room. I just heard that the growth hormone works when we are sleeping, so we should sleep before midnight.

However, I still go to bed very late. Although I always plan my schedule in my head to finish every works and go to bed early, I can't do them.

  2. Your post remind me think about light can influence on human's growth or not. sleeping in a room with non-light can spend time to sleep longer than lighter room. That means growth hormones can works longer too. but it depend on time that you sleep.

However, I am not sure that sleeping in a light room can effect on body shape, i assure that sleeping in the afternoon, that is found high intensity of light, can effect on your shape for sure.

  3. I always turn off the light when I sleep. On the contrary, my friends don't, but they're still thinner than me. That's why I think obesity has multifactorial causes, and this needs more scientific prove than data collecting and analysis.

  4. I always turn off the lights before bed. I have learned that we should sleep earlier if we want to be taller, so when i was young i slept at 9pm everyday. However, teenagers go to bed very late including me. I have to do homework and read text books. In my university, we have to prepare ourselves all the time.
