On's Academic Interests
My adademic interest is about pharmacy. I think it is a good idea to pay attention what I study in the university. In te past, I didn't have an idea to think about it because I like biology. But after I was in high school and studied Chemistry. It was great. I like this subject very much. Then, I find some information about the major that uses Chemistry and the faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences was my answer. Nowaday, I have learnt a little about pharmacy because I am just in the first year. I hope that I will learn more about it in the future. There are manything in this major that interest me including how to treat people from the decease by using some pill.

I think your academic interest is quite interesting. I have the same interest with you. I think science is important for pharmaceutical. My friends also studying at the faculty of Pharmaceutical.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to know that you know exactly what you fond of before entering the university. As I'm a student doctor 3rd year right now, I have to learn about the pharmacy as well such as it's mechanism or what medication you should apply on the patient. Therefore, I can assure you that you will learn much much more in the future.
ReplyDeleteMy academic interests also began with biology, and then progressed to chemistry, but I kept changing and ended with mathematics and physics as my favourite subjects in high school. And the mathematics continued to university, but there is complemented philosophy and a couple of dead languages.
ReplyDeleteI am still very interested in science, and regularly read a couple of science magazines - two of them are on the list "Looking for Something to Read" on the right.
You remind me when I was a child, I used to answer a question to my teacher, "when i grow up, I would like to be a pharmacist", but as years have passed, I have changed my dream to be a designer. Chemistry and also Biology were not suit to me.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds amazing. I used to like drawing and wanted to be artist or designer, but now I study to be a pharmacist. Maybe I can follow your childhood dream.
DeleteI used to love studying chemistry until I got into the university's chemistry class. It was so confusing. Although I'm studying dentistry, I have to study a little bit of pharmacy, too. And it's even more confusing than normal chemistry! I think I'll die very soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's sure that chemistry in pharmacy isn't normal. My senior told me that many subjects in my major are very difficult. I don't want to think how hard is it to pass them.
DeleteSo you are interested in Biology like me. Which part is your favorite? Let me gess, it is Biochemistry which is a combination of Biology and Chemistry.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I like Chemistry but something that combine bio with chem is too confusing for me. I think I prefer Evolution.
