According to "Blessed be thy bicycle: New York riders roll into church", It looks like some kind of bizarre wedding procession with bicycles instead of flowers, The event took place a day ahead of the Five Boro Bike Tour, which is sort of like New York Marathon on wheels. For the last 16 years, cyclists have been coming to the church to get blessed for the big ride.
This article totally impress me. It's kind of little bit weird but not for me. What do you think if you go to church and see everyone sits on bicycle when the get blessed!!. There were many fancy bikes tricked out with neon-color tires and folding bikes, it might be a big part of their lives. If the weather is not so hot, I will drive to everywhere I want. I actually don't have to pay anymore. Praying for god is the good idea at least it might make you feel safer when you ride a bike. I have one bicycle, but it's already broken. Maybe one day I will use bicycle instead of car.
I love immensity, not as you think, it is about a big family which I don't know all these folks personally, but we love the same thing. That sounds freakin' cool. I hope new bike lanes will be improved soon that lead to bigger group of bicyclist on New York City.

ReplyDeleteBut I mean bike lanes, not silly white lines on footpaths. Bike lanes do not belong on footpaths, but on roads. If one lane on major roads were set aside for bikes, that could be great. The bike riders would get around much more quickly than the car drivers, and more people might be persuaded to sensibly use public transportation.
I agree with you not white lines Lol. Absolutely It will be faster than driving in Bangkok.
DeleteIf you interested in riding bicycle in the city, i suggest you to watch the movie called Premium Rush. The story of Premium Rush is a bike passenger who pick up an envelope that attracts the interest of a dirty cop, who pursues the cyclist throughout the city. Joseph Gordon-Levitt also played a lead role in this movie.

DeleteI really like this kind of activity. If you want to ride a bike, you might go to Suanluang Rama 9 which is a huge park that you can do a lot of activities such as, tennis, swimming and jogging as well. Some days I wish I could have my own riding bike gang. These day I am trying to persuade my friends to ride with me. Unfortunately, most of them do not love to do it, but I will continue asking them. Hopefully, when they think that I am annoying and not going to stop, they would say yes.

DeleteI wish I could ride it happily but I'm a clumsy rider, when I'm at the campus I love riding a bicycle with my friends from the faculty to Sam-Yan. They have to keep their eyes on me because they know that I can't ride it confidently, to said it clearly, I can't control it very well. So It's dangerous for me to bike on the street.
